MAG Card Grading was created around a straightforward idea: collectors deserve grading that is consistent, explainable and easy to verify. We pair modern imaging and AI-assisted analysis with experienced human review, and we publish enough about how we work that you can judge it for yourself.
Technology
We use modern imaging and AI-assisted analysis to give graders better information. Consistent capture and measurement mean the person making the call is working from the same quality of input on every card, whether it is the first of the day or the five-hundredth.
Expertise
Human judgment remains part of every final grade. A trained grader reviews each card alongside the technology-assisted findings, and quality control sits between that review and the grade that gets printed on the label.
Transparency
Collectors can verify MAG cards and view available grading information online. Every graded card carries a nine-digit certification number that resolves to its record, and we publish our process and our scale rather than describing them in vague terms.
